Imagine giving someone thousands of dollars to completely destroy your lawn after you were convinced that they were going to make your yard look like and award winning park.  As embarrassed  as I am to admit it this is what Todd Griffin Landscaping, a.k.a. Creative Designs did to  me.

There really is no need to go into detail about this as his business practices are so bad I can do nothing but recommend that you go with any other landscape company you can find.  However, if you are interested in more detail then keep on reading.

Before I describe some of the problems let me first explain that I spent somewhere between 100-150 hours trying to deal with Todd Griffin, in a three year  span, to get things fixed and although I was successful in sometimes getting him to make  promises to fix things the bottom line is that the yard is still in horrible condition.

What problems you ask? 

1. The backyard never had any problems with draining water but now when there is just an average rain the backyard looks like a pond.  Even if he had everything else fixed this alone would make the yard worthless and he was never willing to make sure that it got fixed. 
2. There were three very old, large trees in the backyard that were very healthy until Todd Griffin worked on the yard. All three are now dead and I had to spend over $1,000.00 of my own money to cut down these trees.  Although it is basically impossible to prove who killed these trees I had three licensed arborists tell me that the landscapers - Todd Griffin Landscaping - probably killed the trees by cutting up feeder roots when they put down the new sod.
3. The intended design of the yard has been completely compromised due to the loss of the trees and the dead grass caused by the standing water.  Therefore, the yard is extremely unattractive in terms of professional landscape design.
