Fairmont Hotel in Dallas, Texas

This was one of the worst hotel stays ever for my wife and I and until they do some pretty intense remodeling I can do nothing but recommend that you stay anywhere else but here when in the Dallas area.

When we entered the room both my wife and I knew right away that we were in for trouble.  Three or four of the major furniture pieces were damaged in one way or another with stains, chips and tears.  The artwork was an insult to our intelligence and everything electronic in the room either was faulty or did not work altogether.  Everything else about the room was inadequate as well  for the price that we paid for the room.  Our nightly rate was $225.00, so needless to say, we expect quite a bit for that kind of money.

When we explained that we were not happy with the accommodations for the price we paid the management simply shrugged it's shoulders and said there was nothing they could do about it.

Please, for your sake, stay somewhere else.

    To Whom it May Concern:

I am writing in response to the message that was found at the following website: http://www.tremendous.com/ripoffs/fairmont.htm

Guest service and satisfaction is of the utmost importance at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas. It was very disturbing to read this note and even more frustrating in not knowing the author's name for a response. The Fairmont Hotel in Dallas completed the renovation of all guestrooms in 1998. (It appears that this letter is quite old but could not confirm this assumption as the website letter is not dated.) If the author's identity can be supplied, we would happy to speak with them in an attempt to rectify the  situation. My direct telephone number and email address is listed below. Please feel free  to contact me directly.

Thank you in advance for your time.
